This sold out event two years in a row isn't just an event, it's an experience. Too often, those who are abstinent feel alone, like they are the only ones who have stayed committed to this lifestyle. Truth is, there are many abstinent Christians, they're just spread out across the world. The Meet Up Experience's goal is to gather everyone in one space, creating the opportunity for new friendships and possible romantic connections.
You don't have to live this abstinence lifestyle alone. There is an entire tribe waiting to meet you.

DAY ONE
TRIBE CONNECTIONS
Friday | August 22nd | 12p-10p
Day 1 of The Meet Up Experience is about making connections. This will be achieved through interactive sessions that will allow you to play, converse and worship with fellow attendees in an interactive manner. These sessions will have you up moving, laughing, and learning (maybe even crying). Are you an introvert or coming alone? Don't worry! The host will help facilitate interactions during the sessions.

Registration: You will check in and receive your official Meet Up Experience keepsake wristband & T-shirt.
Welcome: You will be officially welcomed to The Meet Up Experience by host.
Ice Breaker: This iconic game with an abstinence twist will help kick off The Meet Up Experience by breaking the ice amongst attendees. It requires quick thinking in order to beat the buzzer!
Interactive Session I: Dive deep in abstinent discussions with attendees in a fun and interactive way. Get ready to raise your paddles and talk your talk!
Food Truck Mixer: Purchase some delicious food from one of the food trucks and mix & mingle with attendees.
Interactive Session II: This session is an attendee favorite! Prepare your heart and voice to sing "praise & worship" unto the Lord.

DAY TWO
TRIBE SOCIAL
Saturday | August 23rd | 3p-8p
Day 2 of The Meet Up Experience will be more of a free flow, allowing you to choose how you would like to continue socializing with fellow attendees. This is your opportunity to engage in conversation, hit the dance floor (featuring Christian hip-hop music) or have fun by playing cards and a variety of games.

DAY THREE
TRIBE WORSHIP
Sunday | August 24th | TBA-8p
Day 3 gives you the opportunity to worship at a local church with The Tribe. A church will be recommended (details will be included in your emailed ticket confirmation), or you can choose to attend a church of your choice with some newly made friends. After church, attendees will meet for lunch & fellowship.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHERE DO I FIND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR THE EVENT?
The official host hotel, venue's address and other information will be sent with your ticket confirmation. You can access this information by going to your ticket order confirmation email (sent via Eventbrite) and scroll down to the Additional Information section. The recommended church and official electronic Event Guide will be emailed at a later date.
HOW LONG WILL TICKETS BE ON SALE?
The Meet Up Experience tickets will be on sale until Friday, August 1, 2025, or until they sell out, whichever comes first. Tickets can be available for weeks or months. It simply depends on when they sell out. Get your ticket ASAP so that you don't have to worry about them selling out and/or you missing out.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
If you plan to sightsee, consider arriving on August 21st and/or staying until August 25th.
WHAT IS THE AGE RANGE OF ATTENDEES?
There is no way to truly answer this as there are many living the abstinence lifestyle. People of all ages have attended The Meet Up Experience and enjoyed themselves. However, The Meet Up Experience is strictly 21+.
WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE ANYONE TO ATTEND THE MEET UP EXPERIENCE WITH?
The Meet Up Experience may not be an answered prayer for your friends, but it is for you. Don't miss out on your answered prayer. You may come alone, but once you get there you definitely won't feel alone. You can also download The Sexless Tribe App, join TST Social and start connecting with tribe members who are attending.
IS THE MEET UP EXPERIENCE A MATCHMAKING EVENT?
The Meet Up Experience is community-focused. However, where there is community there are endless opportunities. Friendships, accountability partners, business and romantic connections are all possibilities & have all come to fruition after attending The Meet Up Experience. Even a marriage!
ARE MEALS INCLUDED IN MY TICKET?
DAY 1 attendees will have the opportunity to purchase food from a variety of food trucks. For DAY 2, it is advised that you grab some friends and eat before attending Tribe Social as food will not be served. Day 3 attendees will meet for lunch where food can be purchased from various restaurants.
DOES MY TICKET INCLUDE LODGING?
Your ticket does not include lodging. However, we have a host hotel that will offer rooms at a discounted rate. The booking link will be included in your emailed ticket confirmation.
CAN I BUY A TICKET FROM SOMEONE?
Yes, you can. If you do, please understand that the ticket will remain in their name, the t-shirt size they selected will remain the same and all communication sent via email or text will be sent to the original ticket holder's email and/or phone number.
ARE THERE RESOURCES TO HELP FUND MY MEET UP EXPERIENCE TICKET?
Yes! PAY LATER is available at checkout when purchasing your Meet Up Experience ticket on Eventbrite. You will choose Pay Later, log into your PayPal account, and follow the steps.
ARE THERE RESOURCES TO HELP FUND MY FLIGHT & LODGING?
Yes! Please refer to the resources below.
- AFTERPAY: Will pay for your lodging accommodations and/or plane ticket. You will split the cost of the purchase into payment installments.
- AIRFORDABLE: Book your flight for only a fraction of the cost upfront. Pay the balance in up to 4 installments before your departure date. No credit check, no interest. Just a one-time service fee.
- THE KLARNA APP: Will pay for your lodging accommodations and/or plane ticket (from their vendor list). You will split the cost of the purchase into payment installments.
- THE ZIP APP: Will pay for your lodging accommodations and/or plane ticket. You will split the cost of the purchase into payment installments.
- SOUTHWEST AIRLINES: Often offers discounted flights to Atlanta, GA.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Friday: It's going to be a long day! You'll be sitting for long periods of time and you will be moving around a lot. So, you'll want to wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
Saturday: You'll want to take it up a notch. Women consider a casual dress, romper or pants & a cute blouse. The type of shoes are at your discretion. Wear whatever will make you feel cute yet comfortable. Seating is limited so you may be on your feet for long periods of time. Men consider a button up (no tie), or a polo with casual bottoms (i.e. joggers, khaki shorts, fitted denim etc.) You're going to be dancing and playing games, so you'll want to be comfortable. However, you'll also be taking photos and videos. You may even mingle with someone of the opposite sex that captures your attention. So, you want to be cute!

WILL ALCOHOL BE SERVED?
The Meet Up Experience prides itself on being a completely dry event, meaning no alcohol is served or allowed. The fun that is had can be attributed to the games, music and personalities of the attendees.
